How I Fell in Love with Lisbon’s Most Peaceful Botanical Garden
During my visit to Lisbon, I really wanted to visit the Estufa Fria after discovering it on Google Maps. And if you know me, if there’s a gorgeous botanical garden I must go! Initially, finding the entrance within Park Eduardo VII was a bit tricky, leading to a delightful detour. However, the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the garden’s beauty and tranquility.
The garden is impeccably maintained, offering a refreshing respite from the summer heat. The abundance of shaded areas provided a welcome break from the sun, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy nature. I noticed that the garden wasn’t crowded, and many locals were leisurely strolling through, adding to its charm.
At the entrance, I encountered a friendly staff member who, despite a language barrier, assisted us in purchasing student tickets by simply showing our IDs. This warm interaction added a personal touch to the experience.
